1. The short version
Sprig does not require an account. Your daily observations, fertility interpretations, sexual activity, dates, and notes are stored on your device and are not sent to Sprig, analytics providers, or purchase services.
2. Information stored on your device
Sprig stores the information needed to provide the app locally, including:
- Chart entries, observations, interpretations, dates, sexual activity, and notes.
- App preferences, reminder settings, and analytics consent.
- Local trial and access state used to present available features.
Reminders are scheduled by iOS on your device. Sprig creates a CSV export only when you choose to download one; after that, the iOS share interface and the destination you choose control the exported copy.
3. Optional analytics
Product analytics are off by default. If you choose to enable them, Sprig sends limited onboarding, reminder, paywall, purchase, and restore events, together with basic app and device information, to PostHog. These events never include chart entries, dates, notes, sexual activity, or health observations.
You can grant or withdraw analytics consent at any time in Sprig under Settings → Privacy. Withdrawing consent stops new analytics events from being sent. Learn more in the PostHog privacy policy.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes App Store purchases. Sprig uses RevenueCat to validate Sprig Plus access and restore purchases. RevenueCat may receive purchase history and anonymous technical information needed to provide that service, but it does not receive your chart entries or notes. Learn more in the RevenueCat privacy policy.
5. Sharing and selling
Sprig does not sell your personal information and does not use advertising trackers. The limited information described above is shared only when needed to provide optional analytics or purchase validation. We may also disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.
6. Retention, export, and deletion
Chart data remains on your device until you delete it. Settings → Delete chart data permanently removes saved observations and fertility history from that device while keeping preferences and subscription access. Copies you exported to another app or location must be deleted there separately.
7. Security
Sprig limits collection by keeping chart data local and relies on iOS protections for data stored on your device. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so you are responsible for protecting access to your device and any files you export.
8. Children
Sprig is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through optional analytics or purchase services, use the support channel listed on Sprig’s App Store page.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Sprig changes. The date above will show the latest revision. Privacy questions can be submitted through the support channel listed on Sprig’s App Store page.
